App used to be great never had problems. After update nothing syncs. You have to log out log back in and even that sometimes does not do it I have contacted support and they never replied. Please fix this is revert back to the old WORKING version.

My husband and I loved this App for our 2nd child, but this App had gone downhill after the upgrade this past summer! Its horrible! The App never syncs like it used too!
Weve been using this app since our twins were born six months ago. They had a bumpy update a few weeks back but seem to have fixed the issues. Were thrilled with it - love being able to sync to four devices, makes managing our twins that much easier.
After months of syncing problems, and an unprofessional complete lack of support, Ive found a better app and am done with Total Baby.
If want an app that you can sync with others, then do NOT get this one. It only syncs if you delete and reinstall the app, which you cant do all day long. It worked for a while between my husband and my phone, but then stopped syncing suddenly and the creators have been totally unresponsive. Might be ok if you are the only one tracking, and dont need it to sync.
This is very easy to use with my twins. I am able to switch between them very easily. Great for tracking everything for infants. Also great for pumping moms, Im able to see everything Ive pumped since day one
We started using this app 6 years ago and it was invaluable. We were able to keep track of everything for our baby; diapers, feedings, doctors visits, vaccinations, first solid foods, milestones. By our second son, they had updated it so we could even record pumping and saved milk. It has been so nice to have all my childrens information right at our fingertips. About a year ago, the database corruption messages started popping up sending me into safe mode. Once this started, my husband and I have never been able to sync our apps leaving only my phone with the most up to date info. We were able to do a back up and then import it manually. THEN the big software update happened and suddenly we could no longer do a manual data import, it could only be done via email to the company and by signing into the app, not to mention that signing in created another data corruption. And the new watch addition? Yeah, that NEVER worked. Emails to the company yielded no solution and no help. I recently upgraded my phone and lost data in the process when I tried signing into the app. Now I get a data corruption message at least once a day and it goes directly into safe mode. Once in safe mode, I am unable to get into the app (the exit safe mode is dithered and does not work) this had rendered the app useless and frustrating. My recent multiple emails have not been responded to at all. I have taken some screen shots of all my important data within the app so I at least have it, but I am very disappointed in the creators for ruining what was a great app. I would give zero stars if it was possible. I would be even more upset had I lost all that irreplaceable data like many others have!
I used this app heavily the first year. I highly recommend it as it helped timed breastfeeding sessions, time napping, and time between changes. All of the things that blur together the first few months. However, the new "optimization" upgrade erased all data for the previous users. The appts, the immunization tracking, on top of milestones, and height and weight inputs GONE! There is no way for me to get this information back. I am sure their cloud service is supposed to give everyone a back up, but there was no warning, no curtesy, nothing to the old users. I gave their new version 1 star because of this.
Used all the timers in the beginning. Super helpful! Now using just the feeding and pumping trackers, plus growth and appointment features. App works great. Just wish I could remove timers I dont use from the home screen. But not a big deal.
I bought the full version of this app when my first child was born more than three years ago. I loved it. I recommended it to everyone. I swore by it! The nursing timer was so helpful and I loved the charts. And then this summer... All of my data was lost. Growth data, milestones, milk inventory (which I mostly use for donation purposes)--just GONE. Im heartbroken and Im mad. The worst part is that I managed to back up all of my data from a second device before it was lost, and despite sending it to customer support REPEATEDLY over the last month, I have gotten ZERO response. No acknowledgment that they received my email or that they are working on this issue. Which is a turnaround from previous years when they were very responsive. Bottom line: this is a great app if 1) keeping your data isnt important and 2) you dont need any help from customer support EVER! As soon as my son stops breastfeeding I will be deleting this app permanently and looking for a new one if we have another baby. So very, very disappointing...
New update killed syncing. A month later and they say it is fixed, it isnt. At. All. I used to recommend this app to everyone, I just told my nanny to use a different paid app bc the syncing issue. Seriously. Fix this.
Now requires an account and they are collecting and storing medical records and not in compliance with HIPAA or medical records privacy standards. Horrible updates since they moved to 4.5 and newer and their desire to own your familys personal medical information by forcing you to move to their cloud solution. Given the nature of information stored in Total Baby - including medical information this move seems suspect given theyre not demonstrating compliance in how they are handling medical records. They should go back to the old model where we remain in control with local records. The Bad (new to 4.5) They are now requiring you to create an account and register yourself with them even if youve been using the app for years. You cant even see your kids data anymore until you register and create an account. While they offer it as an improvement to allow for syncing of data across your devices they would have served their users better if they used iCloud instead. Its free, relies on encrypted syncs, and entrusts your personal family data to a trusted location which you maintain and have access to. Theyre now wanting to have access to your data where as before this version it resided only on your devices. This is really disappointing. With all of this and the fact that we store medical history and details about our kids (great for vaccine records, growth charts, and general doctors visits), do they even comply with privacy standards like HIPAA in the US? Even their own privacy policy mentions allowing users to maintain their data private and stored locally on our devices and not their cloud. This update eliminates that option. What was great about the app: Use it to chart progress, doctors visits and most importantly keep a current log of vaccinations which comes in super handy often. The only drawback is the sync function which lacks iCloud integration. Personal information without full access to what and how its stored on a private server is not inspiring. With iCloud I can easily see what log files are stored, I can delete as needed and know that iCloud is encrypted and well protected.
I dont get what has happened here. This used to be such a great, helpful app. Now its just useless if youre trying to use it to share i formation between caregivers. And the developers refuse to respond to any questions any more!
The app has amazing potential. It can do everything better than every other app Ive tried. But, most of the time it doesnt work. They claim seamless syncing across multiple devices. Thats not even close to being true. And the developer support isnt doing anything about it!! Ive sent multiple complaints about the issues (and theres tons) and I dont even get a response!! Dont waste your money for the Pro version. Youll just get stressed out and having a newborn is stressful enough.
This used to be the best app and they went and messed it up. No warning about app changes that erased the last 3 years of data. Whoever is in charge of development should get sacked! Now go and get back the previous working version and make the customers happy again. Is that a difficult ask BabyApp customer service?
There are 20 hours timer issue that seems like a bug. Synching is problematic when it comes to running timers. The rest works great. Once that is fixed i will give 5 stars. 20 hour issue is when i turn sleeping timer on then my wife on her phone tries to sunc but instead that same timer would step back a day and auto shut down at 20 hours. Something breaks and this data is gone you have to manually enter and remember all the timings.
If sync doesnt work reliably (and it doesnt), I cant use this. My wife and I have depended on this app for years, but now we cannot. Fix it or Im gone!
Im super frustrated and upset with this app. Ive logged my 2 1/2 yr olds info religiously, and now all the sudden its all gone. I did the "sync to another device" and its gone on there too. Not only did I lose valuable info, but I had a lot of pics and notes in it as well. If you read other reviews, you will see most of the long time users were effected in the same way. What a waste of time and money!!
This app was amazing when I first started using it over a year ago. Timers for everything I needed. Syncing across devices. But with the latest updates, syncing has been horrendous. I have to log off and log back in for data to show up. Very frustrating.
This was the #1 app on my phone for the past three years. It is now useless after a completely disastrous update this summer. Years of baby growth data, doctors appointments, and photos lost. Move on; there is no app to purchase here. Support is nonexistent.
