Lost everything from past 7 years

I so wish I had not just automatically updated the apps on my phone. This update to "Pro" completely removed EVERYTHING I had documented for my kids for the past seven years. I had backed up to email a few times but not since 2014. Its such a shame and Im so disappointed. Ive learned the hard way that I should just keep good old fashioned paper and pencil to document things that I dont want erased or lost in the cloud. By the way, I miss Web 1.0. Thanks for reading, and remember--dont update!
