Good app - sync broken

We used this app for a while with my wife and it was a great way to sync with our twins.

After the latest update sync has been broken and the fix is not only an insult to users (log out/log or reinstall the app) but also doesnt solve the issue consistently. Something is seriously broke with this new version that renders this app unusable
